Aadat Hi Bana Li Hai Is Sheher k Logon Nay
Andaaz badal lena,awaaz badal lena
Dunia ki muhabbat main atwaar badal lena
Mosaum jo naya aaye raftaar badal lena
Agyaar wohi rakhna aehbaab badal lena
Aadat hi bana li hai es sheher k logon nay
Rasty main agar milna nazron ko jhooka lena
Awaaz agar do to katra k nikal jana
Har ek say juda rehna har ek say khafa rehna Har ek ka gila karna
Jaty hoye raahi ko manzil ka pata day kar rasty main rula dena
Aadat hi bana li hai es sheher k logon nay.

As Salaamu ‘alieukum,
Could someone please tell me who’s the author of the poetry,
Aadat He Bana Lee Hai Is Sheher Ke Logo Ne”.
Also, what’s the meaning of “atwaar badal lena”?
What’s the meaning of “atwaar”?
It would be very pleasant and convenient if the name of
the poet is given after the poem.
