Hame koi gam nahi tha, gam-e-aashqi se pehle,
Na thi dushmani kisi se, teri dosti se pehle,
Hai yeh meri badnaseebi tera kya kasoor isme,
Tere gam ne maar daala mujhe zindagi se pehle,
Mera pyaar jal raha hai are chaand aaj chhup jaa,
Kabhi pyaar tha hame bhi teri chaandni se pehle,
Main kabhi na muskarata jo mujhe yeh ilm hota,
Ki hazaron gam milenge mujhe ek khushi se pehle,
Yeh ajeeb imtehaan hai ki tumhi ko boolna hai,
Mile kab the is tarah hum tumhaRe bedilli se pehle..!!!
